Justin Moore is one of the many country artists featured on 'Nashville Outlaws: A Tribute to Country Music,' and while on his tour bus recently, he called in to Taste of Country Nights to talk with host Sam Alex about the 'Home Sweet Home' cover ... and getting his toenails painted.

One fan called in to tell Moore just how much he loved his version, which the country singer released as a single. Moore was pleased to discuss the song, plus how he felt recording it.

"I tell you what, it was the most random thing I've ever done in my career, but it's been one of the most fun things I've done," the star admits. "It gives me the opportunity, as a singer, to really go sing, so it's been a lot of fun to do."

The 'Lettin' the Night Roll' hitmaker was lucky enough to be joined by Motley Crue's own Vince Neil on his version of 'Home Sweet Home,' and now the two have formed a friendship of sorts.

"You know we've hung a little bit," Moore tells Alex, adding, "We've been at a number of events together. We've not hung out necessarily outside of the business a ton, just because we're both busy, you know, they're on their tour and we're out playing shows every weekend and I just had another daughter with my wife ... so I think we've both been so busy. We have kind of established a pretty good friendship and I could see that happening once we both slow down a little bit."

Like Moore mentioned, he's now fathering three girls, including newbie Rebecca Klein, who was born in July. It's probably pretty rare that he gets to be at home with them alone, but when he does, he does whatever he can to keep them smiling. Sometimes, that includes a pedicure ...

"I tell you what, when you have daughters at home and you're home alone with 'em, you'll do just about anything to keep them happy -- including paint your toenails," Moore says, adding that now they're the color they should be -- natural.

The 'Nashville Outlaws: A Tribute to Country Music' album is now available and includes covers from several country artists.

Sam Alex is the host of Taste of Country Nights radio, a syndicated night show which airs on more than 60 Townsquare Media Group stations nationwide.
