Kacey Musgraves Suffers Wardrobe Malfunction at CMA Awards

Kacey Musgraves had to think quickly when she suffered a wardrobe malfunction seconds before she was to sing ‘You’re Lookin’ at Country‘ with Loretta Lynn at the 2014 CMA Awards. The ‘Follow Your Arrow’ singer’s underwear literally fell off.

“Right before I sang, my panties totally came off,” Musgraves told reporters backstage. “They were the stick-on kind — look at this dress, there’s not much to work with — so they were stuck on. And then they weren’t stuck on, and the curtain was about to come up, so literally I had to rip them off and throw them to the side.”

“In case you see ’em, they’re mine,” she added humorously.

Musgraves talked to the media backstage after performing and winning Song of the Year at the 2014 CMA Awards. Fans certainly didn’t notice if she was uncomfortable during her song. Lynn’s entrance stole the moment, which the Texas-raised singer seemed more than happy to allow.
