Kacey Musgraves got the Christmas present of her little girl dreams this year. The celebrated singer-songwriter got engaged in the most romantic way possible.

Musgraves posted a picture of her engagement ring to Instagram on Sunday (Dec. 25), with the caption, "I didn't say yes...I said HELL YESSSS!! Last night the best man I've ever met got down on one knee in my little pink childhood home..in the same room I played with my ponies and barbies and asked me the easiest question I've ever been asked. ❤ I finally know what everyone means when they say 'you just know.'"

Musgraves' new fiance is Ruston Kelly, a Nashville-based songwriter who's had cuts from Josh Abbott Band, Tim McGraw and more. Kelly released his debut single, "Hurricane in My Head," in 2016. He shared the same picture of Musgraves proudly sporting her ring to his own Instagram, captioning it simply, "SHE SAID YES!!!"

Country Music Weddings and Engagements in 2016

It's been quite a Christmas season for Musgraves. She bought her very first home earlier in the year, and was looking forward to decorating it for her first Christmas as a homeowner. She also released her first Christmas album, A Very Kacey Christmas, in October, for which she got to record with Willie Nelson on a fun track titled "A Willie Nice Christmas."

The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter also recently played a very special Christmas show at a retirement home during her Christmas tour, where she got to play for the residents. She excitedly posted to social media after the gig, which had a real emotional impact on her.

“I am just blown away by the impact that this business I am lucky to be able to work in brings!” she gushed.

The couple have not announced any further details about their engagement or wedding plans. Congratulations to Musgraves and Kelly!
