Kalie Shorr don't want no scrub. The Taste of Country RISERS artist has added a country twist to the '90s classic "No Scrubs" in a video performance for PerezHilton.com.

Needless to say, Shorr's acoustic copy of the TLC hit is stellar. Her sweet vocals and smooth acoustic guitar give the bold R&B song a whole new meaning. This individualized cover proves that this newcomer has the talent to cross over multiple genres.

Shorr recently performed another cover song when she took on Toby Keith's "How Do You Like Me Now?," adding her own flavor to the sassy track with her lovely voice and bubbly personality. The up-and-coming country star released her new EP Slingshot in 2017, featuring tracks like "Fight Like a Girl" and "Nothin' New." She also released the music video for another one of the EP's songs, "He's Just Not That Into You," in early 2017.

In a RISERS interview with Taste of Country, the young singer shares that "Fight Like a Girl" has meant something different for those who hear it.

“I’ve heard so many different stories of how people interpreted ‘Fight Like a Girl,’ but I remember playing it for my mom pretty soon after I wrote it and the first thing she said was that it reminded her of when she was going through her treatment for chemo for her breast cancer," Shorr explains. "So I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, I never thought of someone taking it that way, and that’s so much more important than my qualms with the music industry.'"
