Two country redheads will square off in a Showdown battle that may decide which song is most inspiring. Newcomer and #LetTheGirlsPlay artist Kalie Shorr is the reigning champion, having knocked the Cadillac Three out over the weekend. Today and Tuesday "Fight Like a Girl" will take on the latest from a legend.

Reba McEntire's new song is called "Just Like Them Horses," and it's one she recorded to play at her father's funeral. It was too emotional and too beautiful of a moment to not be included on her latest Love Somebody album. For those who've recently lost a loved one, "Just Like Them Horses" will be a pick-me-up. Similarly, Shorr's "Fight Like a Girl" will inspire anyone who's felt cheated or overlooked in love and life.

Listen to clips of both Shorr’s and McEntire’s songs and vote for your favorite here. You can vote once every hour until this Showdown ends on Wednesday at 8AM ET, so come back and vote often to be sure your artist wins. The winner of this matchup will face a new challenger on Wednesday.

Showdown Rules: The song with the most votes wins, and the winner goes on to face a new challenger in the next Showdown. Vote as much as once per hour online. If a song wins five Showdowns in a row, it will be retired into the Taste of Country Showdown Hall of Fame to allow for new songs to compete. Some songs will be considered for a second Showdown if voter turnout is healthy in a losing effort.
