A year after moving into his current home and just a few short weeks after his wedding to his wife Katelyn, Kane Brown still has boxes lining his hallway.

And he loves it.

"As we get rid of boxes, more boxes show up from the wedding and from my birthday and all kinds of stuff," Brown shares with Taste of Country Nights' Sam Alex.

The country singer can't pick a favorite gift — he's appreciative of all of it — but his lovely bride Katelyn does have her favorites. "She got a little wine fridge that she loves," he says. "She got a new knife set that she loves. And Jason Aldean and his wife Brittany got us a nice little blender."

The couple wed on Oct. 12 in an evening ceremony held just outside of Nashville. Shortly after the nuptials, they headed off to a cozy honeymoon in the mountains.

"We ended up going to the great city of Gatlinburg," Brown spills. "It was fun. We went horseback riding and rode the mountain coasters and spent my birthday up there and had some friends come up. It was fun."

And like everyone who has ever anticipated a wedding, it can feel like a letdown once it's over — but Brown will hold onto the memories. "It’s gone, but it was fun, though," he says. "I almost feel like guys always have fairytale weddings, but they did do such a good job with it."

Brown released his new album Experiment on Friday (Nov. 9), so he's basking in a lot of good things that are happening for him right now.
