Burns and Poe singer and guitarist Keith Burns is joining forces with some of his friends in music to host a benefit concert in honor of his brave daughter, Savannah Leigh, who is battling leukemia.

Josh Thompson, Darryl Worley, pop artist Tiffany, Chalee Tennison, Bridgette Tatum, and Burns' former Trick Pony bandmates, Heidi Newfield and Ira Dean, will be joining Burns and Poe on May 10 at Nashville's Listening Room Café for an evening of music, all while raising money for a great cause.

"I am beyond honored to be a part of Keith Burns' charity event for his daughter," Tatum tells Taste of Country. "I can only imagine the internal suffering he and the family have been through, and I hope that everyone's music can in some way lift the spirits and raise the money it takes to help Savannah continue a fulfilled life!"

Burns has been by his 18-year-old daughter's bedside at Atlanta’s Egleston Children’s Hospital as much as possible as she continues to fight the exhausting battle she was diagnosed with on April 2.

"In a time of crisis it's the love of family and friends that paves the path to miracles," Burns says on a special website created for his courageous daughter. "I can't say that this hasn't been a traumatic and difficult time ... We have a lot more work ahead of us, but we are determined to get through this and get Savannah back to her feisty, spunky and fun-loving self. This is going to be a marathon of sorts, filled with good days and bad, but those who want to love and support Savannah with us are welcome to come on this journey of love. All of our lives will be touched in the process so even in this terrible tragedy we will find the blessings."

In addition to the concert, a silent auction will also take place. Tickets for the benefit concert are $15 and can be purchased by clicking here.
