Keith Urban is promising fans "lots of announcements in 2016," and though a scroll through his Twitter feed is like diving deep into a suspenseful mystery novel, the star is offering fans an opportunity to be first in uncovering his secrets.

Urban's forthcoming album, Ripcord, is scheduled for release later this year (and it's No. 2 on the list of 10 albums Taste of Country can't wait to hear in 2016), but the official drop date hasn't been announced yet. All signs point to this news being one of those big announcements.

Currently, Urban is offering fans to participate in a phone call with him "as he makes a big announcement very soon." Fans can register on Vekeo by entering their name, email address and phone number for the chance to receive a call from the "Break on Me" singer on Jan. 11 at 11AM CT, when he just may divulge one of those many secrets he's been keeping.

According to Vekeo, Urban will host "a live, interactive phone and streaming event" to talk with fans about his 2016 plans. In addition to filling fans in on his year, he'll be answering questions.

Ripcord follows Urban's last release, 2013's Fuse, which produced four No. 1 hits including "Little Bit of Everything," "We Were Us," "Somewhere in My Car" and "Raise 'Em Up."
