Keith Urban's upcoming album, Ripcord, features tracks with Carrie Underwood and Pitbull. Entertainment Tonight recently caught up with Urban to find out more about his collaboration with the former American Idol champion.

"I wrote this song with this guy called busbee. The song is called '[The] Fighter,'" Urban says of his collaboration with Underwood. "I would say it’s a call-and-response song between a guy and a girl, and Carrie’s on that song with me."

"The Fighter" is the eighth track on Ripcord, and was both written and co-produced by busbee and Urban.

“This is way more than I’ve ever cut before,” Urban tells Rolling Stone. “It was a lot of searching, a lot of experimenting, and when you get to work with as many people as I did, you end up with a lot of stuff.”

Urban collaborated with busbee and Nile Rodgers for a song called “Sun Don’t Let Me Down," which was in part inspired by Urban’s wife, Nicole Kidman.

“In the end of the first verse, it actually references my wife,” Urban shared. “She’s in a movie called To Die For and in one scene she’s dancing in front of the headlights. So the lyric goes: ‘There in the headlights, dancing like she’s in a movie scene / To die for, and she’s killing me.'

Urban previously revealed that Pitbull will also be featured on Ripcord. Pitbull appears on “Sun Don’t Let Me Down,” adding a rap verse.

“He brings a mischievous, sexy swagger to it, in a very different way,” Urban says.

Ripcord is set for release on May 6.
