It's been a battle of ballads these last few weeks in the Taste of Country Showdown. Last week, Keith Urban's song from the 'Act of Valor' soundtrack topped the new one from Thompson Square. 'For You' earned over 60 percent of the vote, meaning Urban will take on a new challenger this week.

Miranda Lambert released the video to her new hit song 'Over You' last week, and fans were quickly left reaching for a tissue as the images gave new life to an already powerful song. The ballad from her 'Four the Record' album was co-written by husband Blake Shelton about his brother who died when the singer was just a teenager. Lambert wears the story like it's her own in this emotionally vulnerable performance.

'For You' is also an intensely personal song. It's the first Urban has ever done for a soundtrack, and while the movie and video focus on the sacrifices members of the military are asked to make, there's little doubt the singer has his own wife in mind as he works through the song. From the mood-setting guitar introduction to the climatic finish, this song pleases from start to finish.

Listen to both songs and decide which one you like better. Fans have one week to vote, as the polls will close at 11:59PM ET on March 11.

Showdown Rules: The artist and song with the most votes wins, and winner goes on to face next week’s challenger. If an artist wins four weeks in a row, he or she will be retired into the Taste of Country Showdown Hall of Fame to allow for new songs to compete.
