Nashville country music fans are in for a treat this New Year's Eve, as Keith Urban will ring in the new year with a headlining set at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park.

The free concert was announced Thursday (Oct. 6) by the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp. and will include performances from Styx, Charlie Worsham, A Thousand Horses, Moon Taxi and the Fisk Jubilee Singers.

"I actually love playing on New Year's Eve — I’ve done it most of my life," Urban says in a press release. "So when they invited me to ring in 2017 here in my hometown, it was an immediate yes. I’ve lived here now for 24 years, so I know how Nashvillians know how to throw a party, and every year this one just gets bigger and bigger — so we'll be bringin’ it."

This year's free New Year's Eve bash will be relocated to Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park from previous years when the festivities took place on Lower Broadway. Jack Daniel’s Music City Midnight: New Year’s Eve will begin at 6PM with Mayor Megan Barry raising the music note, and the Fisk Jubilee Singers performing.

"I’m still gonna be with my buddies, I’m still gonna enjoy a drink. The only difference is we get to be the loudest folks at the party," Worsham says about performing on New Year's Eve. “And I get to go see Keith Urban perform live. I’m so excited about the entire lineup. I love that it’s such a Nashville’s New Year’s Eve when you go from gospel to Styx to Keith Urban. I’m just getting paid to do what I love."
