Country superstar Keith Urban and Big Machine Label Group President and CEO Scott Borchetta are both confirmed to return to American Idol for its 15th and final season.

It was announced that Urban will join Jennifer Lopez and Harry Connick Jr. in the judges’ chairs for the final season back in May, when FOX revealed the upcoming season will be the last for the groundbreaking reality singing competition. Host Ryan Seacrest will also return, making him the only star to appear on every season.

Borchetta has now confirmed that he will also return in his role as a mentor for the contestants.

"As an artist development platform, we've proven that all the work done behind the scenes at American Idol, along with surviving the rigors of the intense live shows, can properly prepare a winner for a real-world music career opportunity," he tells USA Today. "I'm thrilled to announce that I will be returning for the farewell season of American Idol on FOX and have every intention of working with the team to develop a great new talent to land on Big Machine Records/Universal."

Borchetta signed Season 14 winner Nick Fradiani to Big Machine/Universal and recently released his debut single, "Beautiful Life."

Auditions for the new season of American Idol are currently underway.
