Keith Urban Delivers Moving Performance of ‘The Christmas Song’ on ‘CMA Country Christmas’
After taking the stage earlier in the evening with Little Big Town on the airing of 'CMA Country Christmas' on Thursday night, Keith Urban returned to the spotlight to sing a sentimental and moving rendition of 'The Christmas Song.'
Urban sat perched on a bar stool with a full orchestra backing him on the song that allowed viewers to feel as if he was wrapping a warm blanket around each and every one of them while he sang in front of the fireplace.
Urban looked striking, as always, as his blonde shaggy hair draped over his brow. His dark grey suit and black dress shirt topped off the sexy look as he charmed the audience with his sincere smile and delivery of the most performed Christmas song of all time. While Urban's performance took place weeks prior to his recent vocal surgery, one would never think the singer was having vocal cord issues with this memorable performance.
Urban kept the fans packed inside Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on the edge of their seats throughout the touching performance that softened the mood and gave a gentle reminder of what the festive holiday should sound like.
