Keith Urban has reached the top of the country music radio airplay charts this week with his current single, "Wasted Time." This honor holds an even more special meaning, since "Wasted Time" marks the 20th time Urban has topped the charts!

"Twenty No. 1 songs is beyond my wildest dreams," the country singer says in a press release. "And playing many of them live on this tour, is like the ball dropping on New Year's Eve!!"

"Wasted Time" is the third consecutive single from Urban's most recent album, Ripcord, to hold the top spot, following "John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16” and “Break on Me.” Ripcord also found success by spending its first two debut weeks atop album charts in the U.S., Canada and Australia.

The 48-year-old country singer co-wrote the hit alongside Greg Wells and J Hart. "Wasted Time" extends Urban’s run of consecutive Billboard Country Airplay Chart Top 10s to 36, which is the longest-running active streak in the chart’s 26-year history.

Fans can watch Urban play "Wasted Time," as well as a number of his other career hits, this summer during his Ripcord World Tour. Joining him on the North American trek are openers Brett Eldredge and Maren Morris, and Carrie Underwood will share the bill with him when he heads Down Under to Australia and his homeland, New Zealand.

“I’m so psyched about finally getting to play a real show in the country of my birth,” Urban says. “The last time I played music there, I was in a duo playing every weekend at a pub called the DB Onerahi in Whangarei… and I was 17. This is gonna be an amazing feeling!”
