Country music has a beating heart for our nation's veterans and two of the genre's biggest acts are teaming up with a rock legend to further show their support. Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh has announced that he's instituting an inaugural concert, VetsAid, to mark the official launch of his new foundation of the same name.

Keith Urban and the Zac Brown Band are both slated to perform at the benefit concert, alongside prolific guitarists Walsh and Gary Clark Jr. The show takes place Sept. 20 in Fairfax, Va. at the EagleBank Arena. VetsAid is a nonprofit that raises money for veterans and their families.

“I had to do something and rock and roll seems to be what I do best. It’s also the least I could do for those who have served and continue to serve our country," Walsh says in a press release. "We’re all in this together as Americans and seems to me lately that people are forgetting that. I asked my buddies Zac, Gary and Keith to step up and I’m so grateful that they did. Let’s put on a show, raise some money and celebrate our vets—and let’s do it every year!”

The upcoming concert marks just one occasion in which the Eagles have collaborated with country music stars. Vince Gill had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform with the band on Sunday (July 16) when they reunited on stage for the first time since the sad passing of Glenn Frey at Classic West in Los Angeles. He'll take the stage with them again on July 29 at Classic East in New York.
