As American Idol’s final season continues, several top acts in country are being called back to the stage that gave them their start, including Kellie Pickler.

Pickler is slated to return to Idol on Feb. 18 to act as a mentor for current hopefuls, as well as perform on the show with two of the Top 24 contestants. She’ll also be sharing stories about her experience on American Idol and giving advice to the new recruits.

“It was so great to return to American Idol and see some of my old friends and make a few new ones,” she says of the taping. “I have always been so appreciative of the opportunity to be on Idol and of the doors that show opened for me. And, to be asked back to mentor and perform with a few of the final season’s contestants was a true honor.”

Pickler rose to fame during American Idol's fifth season in 2006. Her bubbly personality and sweet country twang earned her the a spot in the Top 6 before she was eliminated. Since then she has released four albums, one earning RIAA certified gold status (Small Town Girl) and another named the best country album of 2011 by Rolling Stone (100 Proof). She continued her run in reality TV with winning Dancing With the Stars in 2013, and now with her own reality show with her husband, titled I Love Kellie Pickler, on CMT.

See Pickler on American Idol's last season on Thursday (Feb. 18) at 8PM ET. Lauren Alaina recently stopped by to duet with a contestant, and the show's first-ever winner, Kelly Clarkson, is slated to appear later in the season as well.
