Kellie Pickler Becomes ‘Auntie Kellie’

Kellie Pickler can now add “Auntie Kellie” to her list of titles. The singer recently became an aunt after her little sister, Courtney, gave birth to a baby girl. Proud Auntie Kellie was quick to post photos of herself cradling her newborn niece in her arms, and it’s quite clear that being an aunt is something she is not only ready for, but a role she could not wait to assume.

“Finally!!! It’s official…I’m auntie Kellie!!!!!!” she posted on Monday. She quickly followed up, expressing the kind of joy that is able to leap out of a 140-character transmission with another tweet: “Y’all, I’m on cloud 9! Still cannot believe this sweet lil’ precious bundle of joy is my niece!”

Look at that shock of dark hair already! What an angel. That’s a lucky little girl right, one we know Pickler will likely spoil like crazy. Pickler didn’t share her niece’s name yet, but we’re excited to find out what it is.

It’s easy for one to wonder if holding that bundle of joy in her arms will cause Pickler — who just celebrated her second anniversary with husband Kyle Jacobs — to be bitten by the baby bug. There’s nothing like holding a baby to make you want a baby, though Pickler has said recently that she’s not ready for children yet.

Whatever the case, the country singer can spoil her niece rotten until she decides to become a mom herself. Congrats to Kellie Pickler and her family on their latest addition!
