Several country stars took up residence and performed on floats at the annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade yesterday (Nov. 28), including the lovely and talented Kellie Pickler, who looked ravishing in red as she performed her new hit 'Little Bit Gypsy.' Carrie Underwood was on hand for an interview, too.

Like most of the performers of the day, Pickler had to lip-synch her song. Since the floats are moving down a major city street, there's less margin for error that way. Still, she looked awesome and complimented her crimson frock with an ear-to-ear grin from start to finish.

Florida Georgia Line performed 'Cruise' as their float "cruised" on by, with singer Tyler Hubbard keeping warm in a big, puffy coat. Brrr!

Brett Eldredge performed on the Cookie Factory float, singing his song 'Don't Ya' while fending off the cold with leather gloves and a winter coat. It was a "sweet" performance, of course.

Underwood didn't appear or perform on a float. Instead, she had a sit down with the anchors and talked about the home stretch of preparations for 'The Sound of Music Live!' The singer acknowledged the legacy of 'The Sound of Music,' and said that the cast just wants to do it justice.

Underwood sure sounded excited about her upcoming performance as Maria in the holiday classic, saying it was coming along wonderfully and that the cast is so talented, rendering her blessed to be able to work with them. The special airs on Dec. 5 on NBC.
