A long weekend proved to be just enough time for Kellie Pickler's new single 'Someone Somewhere Tonight' to eek out another Showdown win. The ballad moved past Kree Harrison's debut single, taking 53 percent of the vote with an extra day of voting. Today's song battle will be an abbreviated one, with Pickler and contender Cassadee Pope having just one day to prove their new song is tops.

Pope has released her debut song called 'Wasting All These Tears.' The track from last year's 'The Voice' winner shows off her pop-country voice and makes a statement about wasting time longing for lousy ex-lovers. Team Blake voters will need to keep voting to best Pickler, who's won three Showdowns in a row.

Listen to clips of both Pickler's and Pope's songs and vote for your favorite here. You can vote once every hour until this Showdown ends on Wednesday at 8AM ET, so come back and vote often to be sure your artist wins. The winner of this matchup will face a new challenger on Wednesday.

Showdown Rules: The song with the most votes wins, and the winner goes on to face a new challenger in the next Showdown. Vote as much as once per hour online. If a song wins five Showdowns in a row, it will be retired into the Taste of Country Showdown Hall of Fame to allow for new songs to compete. Some songs will be considered for a second Showdown if voter turnout is healthy in a losing effort.
