Kellie Pickler's drummer has been released from the hospital just weeks after suffering serious injuries in a terrible car accident.

Gregg Lohman was driving southbound along Interstate 65 in Kentucky on March 2 when he became involved in a four-car pileup after traffic slowed while drivers were looking at another wreck on the northbound side of the median. Fox News in Nashville reports that Lohman was struck from behind by a tractor trailer, suffering head and neck injuries.

The drummer was taken to the University of Louisville Hospital, where he was initially listed in serious, but stable, condition. Pickler took to her social media accounts to ask fans for their help after hearing of the news herself. "Gregg is not just my drummer, he is family," she wrote. "I believe in miracles and the power of prayer, so it would mean the world to me, my band, and Gregg’s family if you would please keep him in your prayers."

Those prayers have been answered. Lohman has now been released into the care of a physical rehab facility in Louisville, where he is reportedly able to walk and eat on his own.

Hopefully, the drummer -- who has also performed with Lady Antebellum and SHeDAISY -- will have time enough to get back in shape for the road while Pickler is taking time off to do 'Dancing With the Stars.'
