Kellie Pickler vs. Gloriana – The Showdown

Less than three percentage points decide last weekend's Showdown song battle between Cassadee Pope's new song and 'Closer to Nowhere' by Kellie Pickler. It went down to the last few minutes, with Pickler and her fans pulling ahead for the win, ending Pope's streak at two.

There's no time to rest and celebrate however. A new challenger in country trio Gloriana awaits Pickler's fans. Her ballad will take on the feel-good love song 'Best Night Ever,' from an upcoming album from the group. Two very talented artists will battle it out for the next two nights, until Wednesday's deadline.

Showdown Rules: The song with the most votes wins, and the winner goes on to face a new challenger in the next Showdown. Vote as much as once per hour online. If a song wins five Showdowns in a row, it will be retired into the Taste of Country Showdown Hall of Fame to allow for new songs to compete. Some songs will be considered for a second Showdown if voter turnout is healthy in a losing effort.
