Kelly Clarkson insists she won't soon be trading her pop outfits for cowgirl boots, but she's looking to duet with another of country music's hottest artists: Miranda Lambert. During a live web chat to promote her new album 'Mr. Know it All,' Clarkson also teased that she had recorded a duet with another 'American Idol' contestant, and filmed the video for her new single in Nashville.

When asked who she'd love to team up with soon, Clarkson mentioned Lambert as well as pop singer Adele. "I’m a huge fan of these girls and think they are super talented," Clarkson said. This isn't the first time Jason Aldean's one-time duet partner has mentioned wanting to work with Lambert. Last month she announced she'd formed an all-female pop trio called Already Famous, and a fan on Twitter suggested they tour with Lambert's trio Pistol Annies. "I love the Pistol Annies! We have a very different sound but I do love theirs! I can’t wait for their album!” someone from Clarkson's group tweeted back.

Lambert isn't adverse to working with fellow Texans, either. In a recent interview with Taste of Country, she learned about Already Famous and their fan's suggestion. Pistol Annies were collectively excited by the idea of another all-girl group, adding that they thought Clarkson was a great singer.

Before working with Aldean on 'Don't You Wanna Stay,' Clarkson teamed up with Reba McEntire to re-record her pop-hit 'Because of You.'
