Kelly Clarkson was forced to disappoint fans in the U.S. when she canceled a string of her American concert dates due to doctor-ordered vocal rest, and sadly, fans in the U.K. and Canada are now facing the same reality. Clarkson has announced the cancelation of all remaining tour dates on her Piece by Piece Tour.

"I am truly sorry that I have to cancel the remainder of my tour dates,” Clarkson says via her official website. "I was so looking forward to sharing this tour with all my amazing fans in Canada and the U.K. Unfortunately my doctor is telling me I have to stay on vocal rest, but I am working hard to get better as fast as possible."

The the full list of remaining tour dates that have been canceled is below.

Clarkson has been wowing audiences on this tour not only with her own hits, but with unique covers of songs from a wide array of genres. She has let fans in each city suggest songs they would like to see her perform, and the star chooses one for the band to learn during rehearsal the day-of. This unconventional, but delightful addition to her tour has made for a fun, one-of-a-kind show for each date and made even more clear the artist’s pure talent. Clarkson’s covers have ranged from 'N Sync's “Bye Bye Bye” to Bonnie Raitt’s “Love Me Like a Man,” and all have been impressive.

The tour cancelation may actually be a blessing in disguise for Clarkson, giving her some time to rest during some pretty significant changes both emotionally and physically. The “Invincible” singer let slip a few weeks ago onstage that she and husband Brandon Blackstock are expecting their second child, explaining that she was feeling a little strange and didn’t want the audience to wonder what was off.

"I just didn’t want you to think I was crazy or anything,” she quipped.

Clarkson and Blackstock have a 1-year-old daughter, River Rose, and the artist had hinted recently that she wanted the siblings to be close in age, so the pregnancy was not a total surprise to fans. Though no due date has been announced, it’s likely Baby No. 2 will make his or her appearance early next year.
