Kelly Clarkson and Reba McEntire go waaaay back. Clarkson is set to wed Reba's stepson Brandon Blackstock this fall. The ladies released a duet single ('Because of You') in the past and toured together. They also partnered up for a CMT 'Crossroads' special. Now, they appear to be back in the studio together and they've drafted another country lady to be a part of their latest project: Trisha Yearwood.

Clarkson tweeted a picture of a studio soundboard, with all three of the women's names above the corresponding dials.

"Excited" doesn't even begin to describe what Clarkson is about the collaboration. She posted: "So....This happened today. Suck it world! I win! :) @reba @tycom #bestdayever." The fact that she tagged the Twitter handle of each of her cohorts pretty much confirms that it's a Reba-Kelly-Trisha track!

And there you have it! Kelly: 1. The world: 0.

We'll have to wait to hear the results of this session. It's bound to be sensational and just another of the many ways that Kelly Clarkson has shifted further away from the pop world and deeper into the country world.
