Kelsea Ballerini brought her recently gold-knighted single “Peter Pan” to Good Morning America’s Summer Concert Series stage on Friday (Aug. 19), marking her fourth performance on the show.

The singer — who joked she is basically GMA’s house band at this point — began her power ballad with a stripped-down arrangement, accompanied only by an acoustic guitar. The nuance in her vocals showed her true feeling behind the lyrics as she built the song in the first verse and chorus, bringing the words to life.

Her band joined in on the second verse, filling out the rest of the instruments to create the powerful chorus that appears on the record. “Peter Pan” is currently a Top 5 hit on country radio and climbing. Ballerini also performed her first single and mega-hit “Love Me Like You Mean It” while at GMA.

She’s currently on tour with Rascal Flatts on their Rhythm & Roots Tour through mid-September, but Ballerini is also gearing up for her very first headlining tour, appropriately titled The First Time tour, in October. (And no, Dibs the dog is not invited.) Ballerini accidentally let the news slip about her tour early, when she was chatting with AOL’s Build about her co-hosting gig on ABC’s Greatest Hits.

Ballerini also met up with a 10-year-old girl named Mia through a partnership with Make-a-Wish. Mia has a heart condition, and her one wish was to sing onstage with her favorite country singer, which Ballerini happily granted.
