Kelsea Ballerini released her new music video for her song “I Hate Love Songs” on Saturday (June 9) just one day before sharing it with her most loyal fans at a special fan club get-together in Nashville. At the party, held inside Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, the set of the video was completely reconstructed so fans could completely immerse themselves within the video’s treatment.

The video, which was directed by Traci Goudie, shows Ballerini looking sweet and gorgeous, playing among traditional love tokens like flowers, teddy bears and boxes of chocolates while playfully singing about how she hates all of those sweet things.

But that doesn’t mean she doesn’t love…love.

And heck, Ballerini has to be loving her life right now as she finds herself in quite the sweet spot of her career. Not only is “I Hate Love Songs” making its way up the charts, but Ballerini also was able to sing it in front of a packed crowd at CMA Fest also that Saturday.

“Thank you for continuing to make all my dreams come true,” she told the crowd during her set, which also had her performing “Legends,” “Love Me Like You Mean It” and “Peter Pan" on top of hosting the CMA Fest television special with Thomas Rhett.

Ballerini now heads back on the road on Friday (June 15) as Keith Urban’s special guest on the GRAFFITI U WORLD TOUR beginning at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in St. Louis, MO, and running through November 3 at American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX.

Ballerini's hosting gig with Rhett for the CMA Fest special is set to air Aug. 8.
