Kelsea Ballerini, More Stars Meet Teen Battling Cancer at 2017 Grammy Awards

A 14-year-old from Ohio saw her dream of attending the Grammy Awards come true on Sunday night (Feb. 12) when she and her family were given tickets and VIP treatment to the show, reports. Jane Finley even got to meet with stars including Kelsea Ballerini.

The teen has been battling Hodgkin’s lymphoma and had been undergoing treatment when she learned about her trip to the awards show through Make-A-Wish Foundation.

“Battling Hodgkin’s lymphoma, Jane is undergoing treatment at Cleveland Clinic Children’s,” a press release states. “She is happiest while singing, acting and reading about her favorite celebrities in glossy magazines. Her surprise reaction to learning her wish would be granted drew excitement and tears.”
