Kelsea Ballerini will be taking the stage at Nashville’s Symphony Fashion Show on April 18, 2017 as the featured performer for this year's event, which benefits the Nashville Symphony’s artistic, education and community engagement programs.

The event features designer Zac Posen as well as emcee Allison DeMarcus, who is not only a CMT host and former Miss Tennessee, but also married to Rascal Flatts’ Jay DeMarcus. Tickets and event info are available on the event site.

Ballerini is up for a Grammy Award this year in the all-genre Best New Artist category, taking on Maren Morris for the title. She was also recently named one of Forbes’ 30 under 30 most influential musicians alongside fellow country chart-toppers Maddie & Tae.

The 23-year-old has already had a stunning career and is poised to keep climbing, so it’s a well-deserved honor. She’s continuing her journey as one of country’s brightest young stars with her most recent single “Yeah Boy,” the follow-up to her most recent No. 1 single, “Peter Pan.” The fourth single from her record The First Time, “Yeah Boy” has quickly earned a spot in the Top 25 in both the Billboard Country Airplay and Hot Country Singles charts.

The artist recently headed out on her first headlining tour, scenes from which appear in the video for “Yeah Boy.”

Ballerini’s been working on new music, three songs of which have been played live at her shows (“Roses,” “High School” and “We Were Like”). She says the sophomore album will be a little darker and more honest, because those are the songs her fans gravitated toward the first album cycle. Ballerini says she’s been collaborating with songwriting heavy-hitters Shane McAnally, Luke Laird, Josh Osborne, Ross Copperman and Hillary Lindsey.

The young star also just got engaged to Australian singer Morgan Evans.
