In one of the most highly-anticipated moments from the 2016 ACM Awards, country breakout star Kelsea Ballerini teamed with pop star Nick Jonas for a very special performance.

Ballerini looked absolutely stunning (those legs!) to sing a medley of the song that put her on the map, "Love Me Like You Mean It," and her current single "Peter Pan."

The performance started off with Ballerini in a fun-and-flirty jumpsuit, obviously enjoying her time in the spotlight. When "Love Me Like You Mean It" ended, the young country star did a quick change into a longer skirt, that's when we knew things were about to get deep.

Her performance of "Peter Pan" showed a more mature side of the reigning New Female Artist of the Year award winner. Her voice was steady and on point, executing every note, marking her first-ever ACMs performance as a success.

Jonas supported Ballerini with a guitar solo and backup vocals during "Peter Pan," giving the stage an undeniable chemistry. He took a backseat during the performance, giving Ballerini the entire spotlight, what a gentleman!

Ballerini is coming off a banner freshman year in country music that saw her go from being almost completely unknown to becoming one of the fastest-rising stars in the genre. Her debut album, The First Time, has scored back-to-back No. 1 hits with its lead single, "Love Me Like You Mean It," and its follow-up, the fun and flirty "Dibs."

The third single from the album, "Peter Pan," is a turn in a more serious direction for the 22-year-old, taking a look at a relationship with a man who's "never gonna grow up, never gonna be a man" because of his reckless ways.

Ballerini was also one of the early winners in the 2016 ACM Awards, taking home the trophy for New Female Artist of the Year.

“I don’t even know what to say, so for now I will just say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart," she posted to social media after getting the news. "For making not only my dreams come true, but for making all of the people around me who work so hard have so many beautiful moments to celebrate."
