Kenny Chesney practically defines the word “headliner.” After a successful 2015 run on his The Big Revival tour, the “Wild Child” singer has been announced as the first headliner for the 2016 Taste of Country Music Festival in Hunter, N.Y. Next year’s event will run Friday through Sunday, June 10-12.

This eight-time country music Entertainer of the Year is as big as it gets, and he proves it each year by selling out football stadiums across the country. Timeless chart-toppers like “Big Star,” “When the Sun Goes Down,” “Summertime” and “American Kids” keep the crowd amped up until his vulnerable ballads have a chance to hit the heart. “There Goes My Life,” “Don’t Blink” and “You and Tequila” are just three Chesney hits fans know and love best.

The 2015 Taste of Country Music Festival has seen record crowds and top-tier country talent enjoying the beauty and splendor of Hunter Mountain. The venue tucked in the heart of the Catskill Mountains has been a home for thousands of fans, plus acts like Keith Urban and Tim McGraw, with Toby Keith performing on Sunday (June 14). Chesney is the first act announced for a 2016 lineup that is sure to be big.

More artists will be revealed in the coming weeks and months. Check out the Taste of Country Music Festival website for more details and to purchase tickets to see Chesney and more next June. Lucky fans in attendance at this year's festival can buy tickets to next year's show now. Not here? Tickets will be available for purchase online on Monday (June 15). Join us!
