Kenny Chesney has stadium-sized plans for 2018. The superstar just announced 18 Trip Around the Sun Tour dates, starting with an April 21 show in Tampa, Fla.

Thomas Rhett, Old Dominion and Taste of Country RISERS act Brandon Lay will join Chesney for these new stadium dates (below). A press release indicates that this is only a portion of his Trip Around the Sun tour schedule. In 2017 Chesney only played select shows, including a headlining stop at Country Jam in Grand Junction, Colo., in June.

News of Chesney's tour comes just days before he releases a 30-song live album called Live from No Shoes Nation. This project is a collection of his favorite live recordings from the last 10 years and features performances from Eric Church and Taylor Swift and many more. As usual he wrapped his 2017 tour in Foxboro, Mass., in August.

It's not clear if Chesney is also working on a new studio album. His last studio album Cosmic Hallelujah was released in 2016.
