Kenny Chesney has done it again ... for the 13th time! The singer is sittin' pretty at the top of the Billboard Top Country Albums chart with his latest studio album, 'The Big Revival.'

'The Big Revival' was Chesney's 'comeback' album, and accomplishing this feat proves the country singer has still got it. The release sold more than 130,000 copies in its first week alone, and Chesney credits that to the fans being passionate about what his album stands for: life.

“There are people passionate about life, about music, about their friends and how they dig in and get through as much as how they have a good time,” the superstar says in a release. “I knew during the last tour, they were hungry for more from this music ... They wanted songs that showed them more of their life, which maybe offered some different things musically."

So that's just what he did. And it worked. Chesney admits it wasn't easy finding the perfect songs for the record, and he was extra picky, but eventually, he created just what he wanted.

“It’s not as simple as everyone thinks: to find great songs, to be in a creative space where you can think about that stuff, hear new rhythms or change up the lyrics you go to," the beach bum explains. "I didn’t want to come back with more of the same, but more of something even better ... and whether it’s ‘Flora-Bama’ or ‘Wild Child’ or ‘Til It’s Gone,’ the response I’m getting says we did the right thing."

'The Big Revival' was released on Sept. 23 and is available now on iTunes. Behind Chesney on the Billboard chart is Tim McGraw's 'Sundown Heaven Town,' followed by the new live release from George Strait.
