The finalists have been announced for 2016 Billboard Touring Awards, and this year's genre-spanning list honors two of country's heavyweights: Kenny Chesney and Luke Bryan.

Both Chesney and Bryan have been named finalists for the Top Package award. This honor recognizes tours with three or more acts on the bill and includes Chesney's Spread the Love Tour featuring Miranda Lambert, Sam Hunt and Old Dominion and Bryan's Kill the Lights Tour featuring Little Big Town and Dustin Lynch.

The Billboard Touring Awards recognize the top touring artists, concert industry executives, tour companies and venues/festivals of the past year, Billboard explains. The tours are calculated between Oct. 1, 2015-Sept. 30, 2016 and are based on box office data.

Brad Paisley's Country Nation College Tour and Florida Georgia Line‘s 2016 Dig Your Roots Tour are also nominated for the Concert Marketing & Promotion Award. Additionally, the Stagecoach Music Festival, a country festival held in Indio, Calif., is nominated for Top Festival.

This year marks the 13th year of the Billboard Touring Awards and the first time the show will be held in Los Angeles. The 2016 Billboard Touring Awards will be held on Nov. 9 at The SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

In addition to being nominated at this year's event, Chesney received the Pinnacle Award at the 50th annual CMA Awards on Nov. 2. The honor "recognizes an artist who has achieved global prominence through concert performances and record sales at levels unique in country music.”

“When you do what you do, you never think it’s a big deal,” Chesney says in a press release. “But when an organization like CMA recognizes you in this fashion, it makes you step back. To receive this award – especially during their 50th Anniversary – is such an honor, because they’re recognizing half a century of country music.”
