Perennial country favorite Kenny Chesney has announced the release date for his much-anticipated next album. The as-yet-untitled project will be released on April 30, 2013, the superstar revealed in a statement on Thursday.

The album's release will come just a month after Chesney embarks on his No Shoes Nation Tour. "It's gonna be an amazing summer and I'm really excited to bring some new music to No Shoes Nation," the singer states in a press release.

Chesney's last album, 'Welcome to the Fishbowl,' was his 11th No. 1 hit, and the entertainer is the top ticket-selling act in country music. He is likely to continue that streak with both his new album and tour, which kicks off in Tampa, Fla. on March 16.

"The fans are the foundation of 'No Shoes Nation,'" Chesney says. "They built it from the ground up, and they built it with heart, passion and the love of life and music, and I can't wait to feel that connection again throughout the summer of 2013."
