Another New York woman has been accused of striking a female concertgoer in the face at a country concert. According to the Brighton Pittsford Post, 21-year-old Jessica Freeman of Painted Post was charged with second-degree harassment after Wednesday night's Kenny Chesney concert in Hopewell, N.Y.

Freeman's citation follows news of a similar incident involving an iPhone at a recent Rascal Flatts concert in Darien Lake, N.Y., and last month's arrest of 50 fans at a Brad Paisley concert in Darien Lake. While one naturally wonders why New York country music fans have such aggression, it's more likely that police are doing a better job of cracking down and publicizing arrests in an effort to curb misbehavior. A single incident is really a pretty good report card considering the amount of alcohol collectively consumed by 15,000 country fans.

Chesney and the Zac Brown Band will play shows in Foxboro, Mass. Friday and Saturday nights. The Friday night show was originally scheduled for Sunday night, but the threat of Hurricane Irene forced promoters to push the show forward two days. All tickets for Sunday night will be honored on Friday night, and fans who need a refund can get one at the point of purchase.
