It looks as though Kenny Chesney's upcoming release, 'Welcome to the Fishbowl,' will not be his last on Sony Music Nashville -- rather, it's a first. The country superstar and his longtime label home have reached an exclusive worldwide recording agreement for all of Chesney's future projects to be released under the Blue Chair/Columbia label, an imprint which gives the 'Come Over' singer more creative control.

"I moved to Nashville to be a songwriter, so to have my own label imprint feels like beyond a dream come true," Chesney says on his new Blue Chair label imprint (quote via Sony Music Nashville). 'Welcome to the Fishbowl' is the most honest and authentic album I’ve ever recorded, and I'm thrilled to be able to release it on my own Blue Chair Records. It’s the start of a great new chapter for me as an artist."

His revealing new album will hit store shelves and digital retailers on June 19 and will be the first release under the new imprint. The project features the Tim McGraw duet 'Feel Like a Rock Star' and the current radio offering, 'Come Over.'

Chesney and McGraw just kicked off their joint Brothers of the Sun Tour in a spectacular fashion on June 2 in Tampa, Fla. The dynamic duo will take their extravagant all-arena stage show cross-country through the end of August. Click here for tour dates and ticket information.
