Kenny Chesney will be hitting the road with Tim McGraw in 2012 for the Brothers of the Sun Tour, and tickets are already selling quicker than the hottest gifts of the season. With just eight shows available for purchase by Saturday, Dec. 3, Chesney sold nearly 275,000 tickets -- more than on any of his initial on-sales in the past.

With eight more shows going on sale on Friday and Saturday, Chesney can expect to see a similar turnout of fans flocking to snag tickets this week before they're sold out. Already, three of the tour's stops are nearly sold out, including Dallas, Texas; Foxborough, Mass. and Chicago, where Chesney saw his highest-selling on-sale ever.

This tour marks the first time Chesney and McGraw have toured together in 10 years. The two country megastars will be joined by the fiery Grace Potter -- featured on Chesney's Grammy nominated 'You and Tequila' -- and Jake Owen. The stadium tour will be making stops at major venues like Atlanta's Georgia Dome, the Cowboys Stadium, Nashville's LP Field and two nights at Foxboro's Gilette Stadium.

With the ticket sales already at a record breaking high, Chesney could easily see a million ticket sales for the summer tour, making it his ninth tour to hit that benchmark. Beginning on June 2 in Tampa, Fla. and wrapping up August 25 in Foxboro, the upcoming tour is drawing country fans from across the country.
