Country fans at a Canandaigua, N.Y. YMCA found themselves starstruck when Kenny Chesney came in on Friday (June 10) to use their gym. , The country superstar was in town for his Spread the Love tour at Constellation Brands-Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center, but spent two hours working out at the gym beforehand.

Colton Ceravolo was working out when Chesney came into the gym, and he recalled the experience to Daily Messenger.

“I never thought I’d be working out with Kenny Chesney. But there he was, and he — like everyone else — was polite and let him go about his business,” Ceravolo says.

Chesney was treated like any other non-gym member — he didn't get any special treatment. When he entered and said he wasn't a gym member he was asked for his ID by Sarah Belcher, and the singer obliged.

“We have to ask everybody,” Belcher explains.

Gym member Nick Johnson also noticed Chesney, but didn't approach the "Noise" singer.

“He was working out hard. He looked like he wanted to be on his own and do his thing. Everybody respected that. But it was hard not to catch yourself staring,” he adds.

After his concert at CMAC on Friday, Chesney headlined the 2016 of Country Music Festival at Hunter Mountain on Saturday (June 12). Chesney and his band launched their set with “Beer in Mexico” and later performed “Reality” and “Summertime” before slowing the pace for “No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems.”

He also played “Somewhere With You” before addressing the fans, telling the crowd, "I sincerely believe that music and songs are the most powerful things in our lives."
