Kenny Chesney needs to start making room for one more plaque on his walls as his latest album 'Hemingway's Whiskey' has just been certified platinum by the RIAA for sales of over one million copies. 'Hemingway's Whiskey' is the 10th of 14 albums from the singing superstar to reach platinum certification.

Since its release in September of last year, 'Hemingway's Whiskey' has received nothing but stellar reviews from Chesney's peers and fans. After only one week's sales, 'Hemingway's Whiskey' topped Billboard's Top 200 all-genre albums chart and sold an amazing 183,000 copies.

Chesney's latest single from 'Hemingway's Whiskey' is the Grace Potter duet 'You and Tequila,' which was penned by hit singer-songwriter Deana Carter and Matraca Berg. The song is currently within the Top 5 and climbing on the country singles chart. The single was also certified gold in recent weeks for 500,000 digital downloads. The tune is the fourth single from the 'Hemingway's Whiskey' album, following in the footsteps of 'The Boys of Fall,' 'Somewhere With You' and 'Live a Little,' all of which have topped the country singles chart.
