Little Big Town's patriotism shined bright during a PBS special full of America's favorite music over the weekend. The group even welcomed special guest Kenny Rogers to join them during their rendition of 'God Bless America.'

'Star-Spangled Spectacular: Bicentennial of our National Anthem,' aired Sept. 13 and celebrated the anthem's 200th birthday. Country artists came together with other musicians for the celebration, and following a brief introduction by actor John Lithgow, Little Big Town took the stage under a sky full of fireworks.

"And here's some more fireworks provided by Little Big Town and their special guest Kenny Rogers," Lithgow told viewers and the crowd. "Ladies and gentleman, another great American patriotic standard, 'God Bless America.'"

Backed by the Grammy-winning Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Jimi Westbrook and Phillip Sweet began the song in harmony. Appropriately, in the background was the fireworks from the Pier Six Pavilion in Baltimore, Maryland.

About a minute into the song, Rogers waltzed onto the stage. Fairchild and Schlapman placed their hands on the legend's back as he started to sing the song in a way that only he could, taking the lead vocals as the foursome harmonized behind him before they all joined together.
