Although Kid Rock is now offering an affordable summer concert option with his $20 Best Night Ever Tour, he recently admitted to participating in scalping his own tickets in order to make a bigger profit.

The rocker-turned-country artist explained to CNN's Piers Morgan that it's not an uncommon practice in today's entertainment industry. He says, "I'm going to tell people, a lot of artists already do it. I think I've been guilty of it in the past, too. We take some of our tickets, we put them on StubHub, overcharge with what the market determines they're worth ... I'm taking 1,000 of them and I'm scalping them."

It's a rather unfortunate and unfair practice, and fans can be assured that Rock's new $20 Best Night Ever Tour will not allow any sort of online ticket scalping -- fans have to bring the original credit card to get tickets at will call. Perhaps he's hoping it will make up for his past actions. The tour will also offer fans discounted food and beverage prices, and the 'Picture' hitmaker even states that he'll give every fan free coffee as they leave the venue.

With cheap food, cheap ticket prices, and free coffee, Rock's tour is an appealing offer for country music fans. HIs tour starts on June 28 in Virginia.
