It appears Kip Moore has been cooking up something in the studio lately with a buddy fans may recognize.

His new record, Wild Onesis set to come out in just a few short weeks, and he posted two photos on Instagram of himself and singer/songwriter Jewel working on some tunes together. Moore describes the “You Were Meant for Me” singer as a “good bud,” and it’s clear the musicians were having a blast working together.

Though neither Wild Ones nor Jewel’s upcoming record, Picking Up the Pieces, are set to feature a duet between the two, they have performed together in the past. The pair took the stage together at Nashville’s Mother Church, the Ryman Auditorium, to sing Moore’s yet-to-be-released tune, "Separate Ways."

Moore’s much-anticipated sophomore record is slated for release on Aug. 21, 2015 and features 13 original songs, all of which Moore co-wrote, including the lead-off single, “I’m to Blame."

Wild Ones really encompasses everything I’ve been through out on the road since the first album,” Moore says in a press release. “I’m so glad that I’m able to finally let the fans know when to expect what we’ve been working on so passionately for the past couple years, to let them know the wait is nearly over.”

The 35-year-old has been on tour lately with Dierks Bentley as well as hitting some solo shows over the summer, not to mention dishing about his long-time crush (and apparently, future wife), Shania Twain.

“I could dominate early Shania Twain music,” Moore boasts. “I could get down with it. I just love her. That’s my woman. I’ve never met her, but I will one day. We’re supposed to meet.”

Is Kip Moore the Sexiest Male Star of 2015?
