Kip Moore kicked off his CMT on Tour 2014: Up in Smoke run on Thursday (Sept. 25) in New York, where he was greeted by a sold out crowd ... a treat he should probably get used to.

It's one thing to sell out the first show of your headlining tour, but Moore is quickly finding that his popularity is country wide -- he had advance sell-outs in Boston, Minneapolis, Nashville and two nights in Chicago. The singer has been looking forward to this tour, and it's safe to say his expectations are already being met (read: exceeded).

"We've been working toward this moment for a long time," Moore says in a release. "To headline our own tour has been the ultimate goal for us. What we do on stage best describes who I am as an artist. I'm floored that dates are already sold out. We've been working hard to make sure that the fans get their money's worth, and we're going to put everything we have on stage every single night to do just that."

Moore's Up in Smoke Tour will make stops in over 20 cities through November. With him on the road are newcomers Charlie Worsham and Sam Hunt. A full list of tour dates is available on the singer's website.
