Soulful country singer Kree Harrison just can't seem to do anything wrong on 'American Idol.' The powerhouse vocalist continued her run of outstanding performances with a standout version of the Beatles classic 'With a Little Help From My Friends' on  'Idol' Wednesday night (March 20), opening the show with a rendition that set the bar high for her competitors.

Harrision lost her father when she was 12 and her mother when she was 19. The Beatles were her father's favorite band, so she took the opportunity of the show's annual Beatles Night to pay tribute to her memories of him.

She delivered the song with the kind of effortless grace and power that has characterized many of her best performances. Her arrangement drew more from Joe Cocker's arrangement, but with a country-gospel twist that made it her own.

"You're just all the cool things about country," Keith Urban gushed.

"You always out your Kree-dom on it," Nicki Minaj said, adding that Harrison had become a star right before their eyes. "You are the whole entire package."

Randy Jackson agreed with his fellow judges, while Mariah Carey appeared to pause. "I didn't think it was good,' she stated, shaking her head. A moment later she added, "I thought it was fan-freakin'-tastic!"

Harrison will find out whether she is going on to the next round in the results show Thursday night (March 21).
