Kree Harrison got more than one piece of good news on the 'American Idol' results show on Thursday night (March 14). She received the key to her home city of Woodville, Texas, and she also moved on to the next round of the competition.

Harrison has been a standout contestant during the entire twelfth season of the seminal reality singing competition, earning effusive praise from the judges over and over with exceptionally strong performances of Grace Potter’s ‘Stars’, ‘Up on the Mountain‘ by Patty Griffin and the Faith Hill song ‘Stronger.’

The singer performed the Roy Orbison classic 'Crying' on Wednesday night, delivering an effortlessly flawless performance that earned her enough votes to land in the night's top three contestants. That's new this year, previously host Ryan Seacrest had only revealed the bottom three.

Another change was the ranking of the Top 10. Fellow country singers Janelle Arthur and Paul Jolley were sixth and eighth respectively. The bottom two were Devin Velez and Curtis Finch Jr. And the loser was: Finch. Nicki Minaj fought to save him, but the judges couldn't agree and the urban-gospel singer went home.

Keith Urban recently said that he thought Harrison could win the show’s twelfth season.
