Kree Harrison spent countless hours working on her forthcoming album, but she had a little help along the way. In a visit to our Taste of Country Nights studio, the singer opened up about writing with fellow singer-songwriters Maren Morris and Lucie Silvas.

Harrison worked with Morris and Silvas for her forthcoming record, which doesn't yet have a release date. But they didn't just write over a few beers at a bar — it was serious and structured, as the singer explains.

Most recently, the Texas native released her single "This Old Thing," accompanied by a gorgeous music video. She traveled to North Carolina to work on the beautiful visual after the producer shared the location with her.

“I fell in love with the pictures and trusted him," she says. "We took a bunch of guys out there to Asheville, it’s this studio called Echo Mountain. It’s so beautiful. It’s just an old church.”

Get your Harrison fix before her album drops by downloading her single on iTunes and we'll have details on the record when they're announced.
