Kristin Chenoweth was rushed to the hospital after being injured while on the set of CBS' series 'The Good Wife' on Wednesday afternoon. According to reports, the multi-talented country singer and actress was struck by a large piece of lighting equipment, which was pushed into her by a gust of wind. Chenoweth was knocked to the ground and hit her head on then concrete.

TMZ says that a woman called 911 to report the incident and call for an ambulance around 5:07PM ET. A witness tells the site that the area in which Chenoweth was shooting is a "vortex for wind." The source claims that the scaffolding hit the singer/actress "square in the head," and that she appeared to be knocked out. The witness adds, "I thought she was dead at first."

Later, a spokesperson for the New York City Fire Department confirmed that a woman had suffered minor injuries on the Brooklyn, N.Y. set, but did not identify Chenoweth directly.

The 'I Didn't' singer -- who released her fourth album, 'Some Lessons Learned,' last September -- has a recurring role on 'The Good Wife.' At press time, Chenoweth's condition was not known.
