Lady Antebellum Win Best Country Duo or Group Award at the 2011 American Music Awards

Lady Antebellum won the award for the Best Country Duo or Group at the 2011 American Music Awards tonight. They beat out the Zac Brown Band and the other super popular three-piece country act, the Band Perry, for this honor.

The trio, dressed smartly in black, quickly made their way to the podium and thanked their fans: “Thank you to the fans. It starts and ends with you,” Hillary Scott fittingly stated.

Charles Kelly added, "We thank you so much for an incredible year,” and implored their fans to come and check them out on their new tour.

The band's new album, 'Own the Night,' was certified platinum just four weeks after its release.
