Lady Antebellum singer Charles Kelley had a rip-roaring good time at the People’s Choice Awards.

The singer hadn’t even made it onto the red carpet prior to the event before he managed to tear a hole in his Dolce & Gabbana pants.

E! hostess Giuliana Rancic brought it up to Kelley just as soon as the hit-making trio hit the red carpet to talk about their appearance on the show, flatly asking, “Is it true you have a hole in your pants?” as band mates Hillary Scott and Dave Haywood laughed.

“It might be a little racy for TV,” Kelley warned before revealing a minor tear in the inseam of the designer duds.

“I think I saw little mole in your hole,” Rancic quipped, causing Kelley to laughingly respond, “This is when you know your pants are too tight — when you sit in a car and your pants go, ‘Rip!'”

Lady A went on to perform their latest single, ‘Freestyle,’ during the award shows — after a wardrobe change.
