Country goes pop again, as Lady Antebellum have released a new webisode where they cover (at around 1:37) Katy Perry's 'Teenage Dream.' Lady A turn a polished pop anthem into a country ditty in an instant. 'Teenage Dream' is an infectious ode to young love and lust -- it gets the Lady A treatment in such a way that if we had never heard it before, we'd believe it was a Lady A original.

What's even cooler about this video is that Lady A start out performing the song a capella in the dressing room with an acoustic guitar. Then, the footage bleeds seamlessly into a shot of Lady A performing the rest of the song onstage to thousands of screaming, adoring and happy fans. Whoever edited this webisode has major skills, as the transition was seamless.

We'd like to suggest that Perry repay the favor and do the reverse. She should let pop go country by doing a mash up of her biggest hit, 'I Kissed a Girl' and Lady A's new single, 'Just a Kiss.' The possibilities are endless.

Some other recent country-goes-pop scenarios include Little Big Town performing Adele's 'Rolling in the Deep' and Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland and Rihanna singing together at the ACM Awards.

Remember, Lady Antebellum's 'Own the Night' is due out September 13.
